Key Information

Basic Blimp Kits

Each team will work collaboratively to engineer innovative solutions and compete in a thrilling airborne ball-capturing game. Organizers will provide each team with 3 basic blimp kits as a foundational starting point. Teams are encouraged to leverage their creativity and technical skills to develop customized mechanisms for capturing game balls, scoring, and developing corresponding control software.

Team Composition (6 Students)

  • If you already have (at least 4) teammates, please enter their full names in the registration form.
  • If you don't have teammates, don't worry—we will assign them to you based on age and home address.

Online Coaching & Training

Each team will be assigned a coach (a senior high-school student from Capital Youth Outreach Club with robotics experience). Teams and coaches will meet at least once weekly (online or in-person, TBD by team/coach) to discuss progress and designs.
